| Man! Last night at Moe's - I think this was probably my peak Left Collins experience! He's always on - but last night it was like somebody jacked up the power by about X 10! Matt was just off the hook! He's one of the most incredible musicians that we have in Peachville! If he and Lefty ... and maybe an idle bass player from a city 150 miles away could ever hook-up ... just look out! 21 year old David Green is one of the most fun to watch drummers that I've ever seen! The guy is just a rhythm machine! You can tell he's having a good time!
I wish that I owned a teleporter or could clone my self so that I could've caught Brent's gig in Gadsden. I think Bup1' might've made it home for the last set or so. Maybe we can get a weekend Skydog report from him.
Great, great, great, KILLER effin' set by Lefty, Matt and David at Moe's, though! ----------------------- Music is love, and love is music, if you know what I mean.

| Fun set at Moe's last Friday! Lefty's been making some new friends on Birmingham's south side! I think they're ready for the full-band treatment! Can't wait 'til July! ----------------------- Music is love, and love is music, if you know what I mean.

| Hey Lefty, glad to hear you are getting better by the day. My wife really enjoyed the show at Grants in April. She told me to drop you a note and suggest y"all try and get a gig over here in Charleston. Some good spots would be The Windjammer or The Pour House. The "Jammer" is always fun. Contact Bobby Ross @ the- windjammer.com
Hope you're healin up well and maybe see ya over the summer. | 26.5.2010 14:32 |

Also - thanks for playing Moe's Friday - and letting B.A. sit-in! That was big FUN!
Hope to see you soon! I know you've got a fine nurse waiting for ya when you get home!

| OOPS....this is my post, NOT Leftys...LOL....
So I'm finally getting to post a HUGE THANKS to everyone for coming out Saturday night to celebrate Lefty's 50th with us (internet line was chewed up by our sweet puppy Hank til this morning, LOL)...anyway, Pat, Syd, & Erin started the surprises off by showing up for a pre-show dinner @ Chili's, which scared the couple next to us out of their chairs, hahaha, ( & I just remembered the walker that Celia helped to decorate, LMAO) thanks guys....Rusty & Donna surprised us too because I never got a confirmation they were for sure coming...then the Vancura's surprised the britches off of Lefty when they walked in with their crew from Chicago....then SistaBluz surprised us both when she walked through the door....I can't even begin to thank all of you for taking time out of your busy schedules to come celebrate with us...Lefty was so shocked to see everybody...My crew from Gadsden came out in full force to show Lefty how much they love him too...Bup is a regular so he was no surprise, thanks Randy...and I know I always say how they blew the roof off of the place & they do, but Saturday night I can't even explain how bad A_ _ they were.....It was one of those nights that you just want to go on & on & on....one of my younger friends asked why are they stopping?? something about a law I think....because if there were no closing times I think they would have continued for another 3 more hours...I don't think I've ever seen so many smiles & laughs on stage by those guys ever....GREAT night to celebrate Lefty's 50th....Thanks to Jon Player, Jimmy Henderson, Barry McNair, J.P., Pete, & David Green, OH, and last but not least Lefty Collins for an awesome night of music.... If I left anyone out, please forgive me... | 15.3.2010 12:05 |
